Project Description

SDG created this award-winning design which served over 900 students. The structure uses many energy conserving design features which result in a 50% energy cost savings over conventionally designed schools. The steep-sloped ceilings are integrated with lots of windows to add natural light and warmth, thus saving additional energy. The project was completed in 1981 and still, 34 years later, remains more energy efficient than other traditionally designed schools.
